" The art of recovery from an eating disorder ", Judith Shaw, is the name of exhibition that is currently (until 6 April) at the Medical Center Columbia University in Manhattan, New York.
Sculptures representing recovery from anorexia nervosa. images that reveal the passions , obsessions and rituals of life with this disease.
Judith Shaw began her battle with anorexia at the end of the thirties and continued
for 15 years until he finally sought help at the age of 53. The artist found a way to cope with their disease by creating sculptures.

As Judith recovery progressed, "The pieces have become a valuable communication tool, sometimes providing an understanding more clear about my feelings and perceptions. More precise than words, the sculptures have become a way to record my progress and I remain committed to the recovery ... has been a powerful healing. "
