Washington .- Forecasters have warned of the possibility of more tornadoes occur on Tuesday in Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, northern Texas and western Missouri, as the city of Joplin begins cleanup after a tornado that caused at least 116 fatalities.

The National Weather Service warned however that there is a 45 percent chance of another series of tornadoes, particularly from mid-afternoon to midnight tonight.

"It is forming a very serious situation and it is possible, if not probable, that we spend the maximum alert level in the coming hours as we collect more data," said Russell Schneider, director of Storms Forecast Center in Norman , Oklahoma. Read More Here ""
